Some of the other 17 venues include King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut (Glasgow), Clwb Ifor Bach (Cardiff), The Leadmill (Sheffield) and The Jericho Tavern (Oxford).

The Oh Yeah event will feature three of the most promising acts from Northern Ireland.

Little Bear come from Derry and received a great deal of attention in February 2013 when they appeared on the Other Voices TV programme – stepping in for Two Door Cinema Club at the last minute. They played at a London showcase for Belfast Music Week, released a single on Smalltown America, performed with a string quartet and worked the summer festival circuit, including Electric Picnic.

Go Wolf, based in Belfast have been featured on a music compilation on the prestigious French Kitsuné Maison label, home to the likes of Two Door Cinema Club and Hot Chip. The band was selected as one on the 12 acts to play the industry showcase event at the Limelight complex, 14 November. This was an unqualified success. Jim Carroll from the Irish Times wrote: "Of the acts I saw, it was Go Wolf who won the battle of the ears… buzzing, muscular, addictive electro-pop running through their veins and a barrage of tracks which already sound damn glorious and quite gorgeous."

Irish blogger Nialler9 wrote "Go Wolf have certainly latched on to bigger possibilities."

The Couth come from Lisburn and play elemental garage rock with bravura and style. Their recent highlights have included a storming set at the Mandella Hall, Belfast in November and an appearance on the first Broken Melody compilation.
