VOLUME CONTROL IS RECRUITING!

Volume Control, our award winning youth events and industry enterprise mentoring programme is now open for applications!

Volume Control aims to support young people aged 14-18 in developing, planning, and delivering their own live music events by providing mentoring and a dedicated space that will give them the opportunity, skills and confidence to realise their full potential. 

In the process of doing this, they also learn about several other elements of working in the music sector from artist liaison and booking acts, to press and promotion, stage management, music journalism, sound engineering, ticketing, photography and more.

Volume Control is for young people with a real love for live music and gig promotion who would also like to pursue their interests of working in the events or music industries either as a hobby or a career. 

Would you like to be part of a group of your peers that regularly meet to plan events and showcase local emerging music? Do you enjoy organising things for your friends and have creative ideas? Then Volume Control may be for you or a young person you know! 

Recruitment of a team of up to 15 young people is once a year through an application process followed by a short informal interview.
