Old Crows Promotions Presents: Slow Healer / Madams Last Discovery / Mucksavage

Slow Healer

Slow Healer are a four piece alt-rock band that take influences from the grunge period of the 90's with a modern twist. They combine atmospheric guitar effects with punchy riffs, as well as catchy lyrics that focus on topics such as individualism, family and social anxieties. Considered one the 'the country's most promising live propositions' in the Line of Best Fit Magazine, they indeed are a band to see live as they exert an energy that creates an exciting and unforgettable experience.

Madams Last Discovery

Madam’s Last Discovery are a four-piece band from Belfast. The Psychedelic, Groovy but Hard Driving rock sound of the band was never planned, it just happened. Partly credited to each member's individual influences from bands like Dandy Warhols to Extreme to Led Zeppelin and Blur. After discovering their strong point as a band wasn’t covers, and forcing Guigsy on bass, they began to write together, each of them throwing in musical elements of their own. The band then went on to write more original music and in late 2022 the band came out to show the local Belfast music scene what they had come up with, playing support slots in venues such as Sunflower Bar, HMV, The Pavilion, McHugh’s, Oh Yeah Centre and Ulster Sports Club and in late March 2023 the band release their debut single “A Perfect Day”

Mucksavage

First show!

Mucksavage is the creative vehicle through which songwriter James Foy navigates and interprets the complexities of his world. With a poignant and raw lyrical approach reminiscent of folk storytelling, Mucksavage reconciles the monotony of daily life, the heartbreak of loss, and the intricacies of human relationships.

Mucksavage's sound is a distinctive blend of earworm melodies and explosive grunge elements, as James's musings are distorted and mutated by a hoard of effects pedals, spikey guitars, and thunderous drums.
